Some women and girls dedicate all their free time to science, others are only interested in fashion, someone else dreams only of a career, travels, freedom, parties … but (believe me) no woman will be able to resist Him … His Majesty the PRINCE!

You can persistently prove to others that love, romantic back-to-the-nature weekends with tents, campfire spicy roasted potatoes and marshmallows, campfire guitar songs, bouquets of red roses and heart-shaped chocolates are not for you, because you are a modern free woman and you can easily buy a bouquet of flowers or your favorite sweets for yourself and not depend on anyone. But sooner or later, there will still come a time when fate will not ask your opinion, your heart will start beating faster, thoughts will lose clarity, freedom, and independence will fly out of your head like a weightless cloud and you, like a magnet, will be attracted to him… the prince sent to you by your destiny…

No one knows in advance what kind of prince you will meet on your way…

Fate, as a rule, likes to decide everything by itself. But in general, the most common types of princes are:

• A classic prince on a white horse. This is a very rare specimen, which is included in the Red List of threatened species. You are much more likely to go on vacation to Mars than to meet this kind of prince. But who knows, maybe fate has prepared a meeting with him just for you, so be on the lookout and don’t lose hope …
• A brainy prince. He is easily recognizable by glasses (although modern representatives of this species often disguise themselves and wear contact lenses). Other signs are the clothes that are not quite the latest fashion, indecision in actions, and shyness. But one has only to touch on a scientific topic that interests him – that’s it… no one will be able to stop the flow of words from the mouth of this prince, he will explain mathematical theorems to you, reveal the subtleties of chemical formulas or tell in detail the biographies of all the writers of the world…
• A romantic prince. This species will give you flowers, sing serenades, and dedicate poems. He won’t be able to deftly repair a broken faucet in your kitchen, but he will easily call any star in the sky by your name…
• A business prince. He usually arrives in a beautiful car, uses expensive perfumes, his clothes are tastefully selected and so elegant, as if he came to you directly from the Oscars. This prince will most likely take you to an expensive restaurant with live music, confidently advise which dish to choose from the menu (I don’t think it will be plain meatballs or some spicy roasted potatoes with paprika… these dishes are too simple for such an expensive restaurant) and he’ll order wine from a rare collection without hesitation. During your romantic dinner, he will also manage to conclude several important contracts over the phone…
• A stingy prince. Not to be confused with a poor prince. This one can’t live without saving. Therefore, don’t be surprised that he will come on a date by bus, subway, or come on foot (even if he has to walk several miles), and instead of a luxurious restaurant dinner, he will buy you a hot chocolate in a paper cup from some street kiosk (motivating by the fact that the weather is so good, it’s a pity to waste such a wonderful evening in a restaurant and it’s better to walk along the evening streets in the pouring rain)…
• An Othello prince. This prince is terribly jealous. Moreover, he will be jealous of you not only to other princes, but to any of the passers-by, in some cases to objects too (for example, he may be jealous of you even to a tree… because you are too enthusiastic about contemplating its leaves)…
• A Narcissistic prince. You will easily recognize him by his fashionable clothes and beautiful appearance. Do not be surprised if such a man will often admire his reflection in the shop windows when you walk down the street. It’s vital for him to feel himself the best in the world. He will talk a lot about himself – you will have to listen to a kind of monologue – an ode in his honor performed in his own performance…
• A mama’s boy prince. If you notice some strange middle-aged woman behind this prince, don’t be alarmed. It’s all right – it’s just his mom. Such a prince is tied to his mother with an invisible ribbon. Often this species carries a mobile phone in hand and constantly answers calls. Here again everything is fine – it’s his mother calling, she gives him advice on how to treat you correctly. There is nothing strange if this prince comes on a date with a plastic bag full of homemade flatbread or buns (which his mother baked for you). Many of you remember Fyodor with the flatbread (if you are not yet familiar with Fyodor, go here) …
• An ordinary prince. This type is the best, the most practical and the most suitable for family life. If you come across such a prince – consider yourself very lucky. He will not call the stars by your name, he will not take you to expensive restaurants every evening, but after work on the way home he will go to the supermarket and buy everything according to the list that you wrote on a piece of paper. This specimen is quite practical and predictable, so you should not be afraid of unpleasant surprises …

Prince, romance and spicy roasted potatoes

There are many other types of princes, but this is not the main point. The most important thing is that no matter what kind of prince destiny chooses for you, remember: sooner or later the prince will want to eat! You cannot go to a restaurant every night or order ready-made food every day. The romantic atmosphere will fade with time and the prince will get tired of daily visits to the restaurant and evening walks. Even a business prince, after various negotiations and business meetings, will not dream of oysters with sea urchin sauce … believe me, in his dreams there will be homemade spicy roasted potatoes, a sofa, a TV and pajamas or a comfortable tracksuit … and you, of course…

Therefore, if you liked the prince and you want to capture his heart forever, I strongly advise you to arm yourself with simple delicious homemade recipes.

1. The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach (this rule applies to all princes)
2. A hungry man is an angry man (nobody likes an angry prince, so for your own comfort, cook him something delicious and there will be peace in the house)

Mashed potatoes, pancakes, Ukrainian zrazy, potato casserole … the choice of dishes and recipes is endless! Then, there is another fantastic dish – easy spicy roasted potatoes! This dish will perfectly adapt to every day and the festive menu. It can be served with meat, fish, sauce or just a vegetable salad. In extreme cases, even without anything – season it with garlic, spicy paprika and fragrant rosemary… it’s so delicious that any prince will be yours forever.

Of course, men love with their eyes, so after preparing dinner don’t forget to take off your apron and … put on comfortable home clothes and warm slippers, sit in front of the TV and relax. You’re not a maid, after all. Forget about the elegant uncomfortable dress and high-heeled shoes… the prince is sitting in front of the TV in his pajamas without any problems, what can’t you? Are the spicy roasted potatoes with paprika ready? Tell the prince to go into the kitchen, take the potatoes out of the oven, and set the table. Nothing will happen to him. Everyone needs rest and relaxation, both princes and us – ordinary Goddesses!

These easy roasted potatoes with paprika are made with very simple ingredients:

If you are a happy digital kitchen scale owner, I highly recommend using it instead of cups and spoons. Especially when it comes to baking recipes. A scale gives you far more accurate results than volume measurements (everyone scoops ingredients differently). Trust me, using a kitchen scale to measure ingredients will take your baking to a new level.

• 6-7 medium potatoes
• ½ tsp ground paprika
• ⅔ tsp salt
• 3 Tbsp olive oil
• 2 large cloves of garlic
• 2 small sprigs of fresh rosemary (or 2 tablespoons dried rosemary)

Spicy potatoes recipe

Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium pieces.

Add paprika, salt, olive oil, garlic (minced) and rosemary. Mix well so that all potatoes are evenly covered with the dressing. Preheat the oven to 425F (220C) and bake for 40-50 minutes.
