Ingredients
  

  • bananas (quantity depends on your choice)
  • lemon juice (the proportion is ½ lemon juice for 1 banana)

Instructions
 

  • First of all, peel the bananas and cut them into 1/4 inch (1/2cm) slices. Pour some lemon juice over them and leave for 2-3 minutes (lemon juice will not only protect bananas from darkening but also make dehydrated bananas especially fragrant)
  • Place the slices on the dehydrator tray in one layer so that they don’t touch each other. Set the temperature to 135F (60 C) and cook them for 6-10 hours. How long does it take to dehydrate banana chips? It depends on the thickness of the slices, the humidity in your house, and also on what kind of dehydrated bananas you prefer – chewy or crunchy.
    Ready dehydrated banana slices will look like this and may be slightly sticky but not mushy (just don’t over-dry them, so that you don’t have to go to the dentist later (too dry bananas are hard enough).
  • Remove the finished bananas chips out of the dehydrator, let them cool and enjoy!
